Electric duct installations we can provide
Using our varying methods and with our wealth of experience at SW Directional Drilling we can install ducting for every type of electric cable that you may require be it LV 25mm 3 core to 132kV EHV Cable and beyond. With our massive experience in this sector (over 1000 trenchless operations) and through working on numerous permanent national electric contracts over the years, we know exactly what duct to install for all cable types to meet the legal requirements of CE Electric, NEDL, E-On, EDF and many others.
With the vast majority of our trenchless cable ducting installed being 125mm SDR11 HDPE, used for cables up to and around 185mm Triplex 11kV. Duct sizes of 50mm, 90mm, 110mm, 160mm, 180mm and even up to 250mm have even been installed in the past for cable circuits of 240v, 500v, 6.6kV, 11kV, 33kV, 66kV and even 132kV. We have worked on numerous large sub station sites and even installed 1700 meters of Electric duct right through the middle of Scarborough Town Centre (in 2 weeks!).
